Mecalbi to showcase automatic centering solution for conveyor-based heat shrink systems at EWPTE2018

The fifth appearance of Mecalbi at the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo in Milwaukee, next May, will be branded by the introduction of an automatic centering solution for conveyor-based heat shrink devices, very much in use specially in the American market.
The importance of the American market for the Portuguese company Mecalbi reveals once again, this year, by the introduction of a new solution to improve the processes based in conveyor heat shrink devices. The Integrated System for Automatic Centering – ISAC14 – aims to solve the solely quality requirement exposed, until now, to human: the correct positioning of the heat shrink tube on the harness.
In a market mainly characterized by the use conveyor-based heat shrink systems, the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo serves as the perfect ground to showcase the new solution that will reduce process time and human errors and, at the same time, will increase quality and efficiency.
The revolutionary and unique device will be first made available as an add-on for Mecalbi’s STCS-CS14, but it’s expected a similar solution to fit also the Portuguese company’s bigger conveyor STCS-CS19.
